About this song

The happiest, noisiest holiday gets its song

Purim is the most joyful, playful holiday of the Jewish year: costumes, noisemakers, sweet hamantaschen, and the whole story of brave Queen Esther who saved her people. It is a day made for laughing out loud.

RIGLI captures all of that fun in a bouncy klezmer-pop song that practically asks a room full of children to jump up and dance.

What the song is about

Costumes, groggers, and the story of Esther

The song celebrates everything kids love about Purim: dressing up, spinning the grogger to drown out the villain's name, and the happy ending of the Purim story. It is part of the world of JEWISH, RIGLI's project for reviving Jewish song for a new century.
