The story

A cinematic klezmer-blues ballad inspired by the old Yiddish folk song "Di Katerinke" ("The Hurdy-Gurdy"). A wandering street musician reflects on fortune, loss, memory, and the turning wheel of destiny. Combining klezmer, chanson, country-blues, and theatrical storytelling, this modern adaptation transforms a traditional image into a timeless meditation on resilience and survival.
